Upper estimate price exceeded by 56 %.
In February 2020 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art Online | Milan, which included the work Senza Titolo (Mano) by Vanessa Beecroft. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,250.00 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vanessa Beecroft achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,199.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza Titolo (Mano) von Vanessa Beecroft zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.250,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vanessa Beecroft erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 89.199,44).
