In June 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Nude by Valentin Serov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,750.00 (€ 26,437.26), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentin Serov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Praskovia Anatolievna Mamontova in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,499,528.50).

Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude von Valentin Serov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 26.437,26) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentin Serov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Praskovia Anatolievna Mamontova im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.499.528,50).
