Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Quartet by Valentin Serov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 38,173.92). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentin Serov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Praskovia Anatolievna Mamontova in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,499,528.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Quartet von Valentin Serov kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 38.173,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentin Serov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Praskovia Anatolievna Mamontova im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.499.528,50).
