Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Colors by Valentin Carron. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,839.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentin Carron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Homme (The Man) in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 62,054.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colors von Valentin Carron zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.839,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentin Carron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Homme (The Man) im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 62.054,58).
