Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work To be fruit by Valentin Carron for CHF 1,250.00 (€ 1,160.93). This price was achieved in the auction Swiss Art Online Sale at Christies in Zurich (Online) and was even below the estimate range of CHF 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentin Carron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Homme (The Man) in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 62,054.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit To be fruit von Valentin Carron für CHF 1.250,00 (€ 1.160,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Swiss Art Online Sale bei Christies in Zürich (Online) erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentin Carron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Homme (The Man) im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 62.054,58).
