However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Václav Špála - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Czech thunderstorm By The River Otava (Bouře U Otavy), which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 187,250.00 (€ 207,157.32).
