Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective, which included the work Rural Song by Václav Špála. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,614.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Václav Špála achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech thunderstorm By The River Otava (Bouře U Otavy) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 187,250.00 (€ 207,157.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rural Song von Václav Špála zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.614,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Václav Špála erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech thunderstorm By The River Otava (Bouře U Otavy) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.250,00 (€ 207.157,32).
