This artwork by Václav Špála achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2011. In the The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art auction, the work Czech nude (Akt) sold for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,382.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Václav Špála achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech thunderstorm By The River Otava (Bouře U Otavy) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 187,250.00 (€ 207,157.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Václav Špála erzielte im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art wurde die Arbeit Czech nude (Akt) für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.382,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Václav Špála erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech thunderstorm By The River Otava (Bouře U Otavy) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.250,00 (€ 207.157,32).
