A top price for Uta Barth
In May 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Untitled (02.4) by Uta Barth. The »bidding war« ended at USD 38,400.00 (€ 29,922.86), 28% above the upper estimate. With this result, Untitled (02.4) is even the most expensive work of art by Uta Barth that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Uta Barth
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (02.4) von Uta Barth zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 38.400,00 (€ 29.922,86) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Untitled (02.4) sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Uta Barth, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
