Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oriental Scene by Ushio Shinohara was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in January 2008. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,042.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ushio Shinohara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work UNTITLED (OIRAN SERIES) in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,837.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Oriental Scene von Ushio Shinohara wurde im Januar 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.042,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ushio Shinohara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit UNTITLED (OIRAN SERIES) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.837,31).
