Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work MOTORCYCLE by Ushio Shinohara. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 12,185.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Ushio Shinohara have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work UNTITLED (OIRAN SERIES) was auctioned for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,837.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit MOTORCYCLE von Ushio Shinohara zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 12.185,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ushio Shinohara konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2017 die Arbeit UNTITLED (OIRAN SERIES) für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.837,31) versteigert.
