Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included this untitled work by Ushio Shinohara. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,074.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ushio Shinohara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work UNTITLED (OIRAN SERIES), which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,837.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ushio Shinohara zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.074,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ushio Shinohara mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit UNTITLED (OIRAN SERIES) beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.837,31) versteigert wurde.
