Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Spider-Man by Ushio Shinohara for HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ushio Shinohara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work UNTITLED (OIRAN SERIES), which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,837.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spider-Man von Ushio Shinohara für HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ushio Shinohara mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit UNTITLED (OIRAN SERIES) beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.837,31) versteigert wurde.
