Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work White Swan by Urs Fischer. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,715.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Urs Fischer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Lamp/Bear) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 6,802,500.00 (€ 4,731,844.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit White Swan von Urs Fischer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.715,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Urs Fischer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Lamp/Bear) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.802.500,00 (€ 4.731.844,74).
