A top price for Umberto Ongania
In April 2001 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Decorated gondolas in the Bacino di San Marco by Umberto Ongania. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,303.89). With this result, Decorated gondolas in the Bacino di San Marco is even the most expensive work of art by Umberto Ongania that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Umberto Ongania
Im April 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Decorated gondolas in the Bacino di San Marco von Umberto Ongania zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.303,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Decorated gondolas in the Bacino di San Marco sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Umberto Ongania, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
