This work without title by Umberto Mastroianni was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,507.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Umberto Mastroianni; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Folgorazione sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of EUR 5,040.00.
