Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Umberto Mastroianni could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund auction, the work Senza titolo changed hands for USD 1,000.00 (€ 883.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Umberto Mastroianni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Folgorazione in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 5,040.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Umberto Mastroianni konnte im November 2018 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund wechselte die Arbeit Senza titolo für USD 1.000,00 (€ 883,16) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Umberto Mastroianni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Folgorazione im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.040,00.
