Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Ritratto by Umberto Mastroianni for EUR 1,386.00. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Umberto Mastroianni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Folgorazione, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 5,040.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ritratto von Umberto Mastroianni für EUR 1.386,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Umberto Mastroianni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Folgorazione beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 5.040,00 versteigert wurde.
