Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Umberto Mariani was sold in the Art Contemporain Vente du jour auction at Christies in Paris in June 2017. The price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Umberto Mariani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Forma Celata - 2010 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 67,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Umberto Mariani wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du jour bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Umberto Mariani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Forma Celata - 2010 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 67.500,00.
