Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La forma celata by Umberto Mariani was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May 2021. The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Umberto Mariani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Forma Celata - 2010 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 67,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La forma celata von Umberto Mariani wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Umberto Mariani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Forma Celata - 2010 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 67.500,00.
