Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Strumenti per una Deposizione by Umberto Mariani for EUR 1,764.00. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Umberto Mariani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Forma Celata - 2010 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 67,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Strumenti per una Deposizione von Umberto Mariani für EUR 1.764,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Umberto Mariani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Forma Celata - 2010 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 67.500,00.
