Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in London held the auction Twentieth Century British Art, which included the work Still life by Ula Paine. The price achieved of GBP 352.50 (€ 545.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ula Paine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers By The River in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,474.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Twentieth Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life von Ula Paine zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 352,50 (€ 545,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ula Paine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers By The River im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.474,26).
