Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ula Paine could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Eucalyptus with fruit changed hands for GBP 180.00 (€ 265.45) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ula Paine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers By The River in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,474.26).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ula Paine konnte im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Eucalyptus with fruit für GBP 180,00 (€ 265,45) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ula Paine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers By The River im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.474,26).
