Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work The parrot at the window by Ula Paine for GBP 48.00 (€ 70.79). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ula Paine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers By The River in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,474.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The parrot at the window von Ula Paine für GBP 48,00 (€ 70,79) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ula Paine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers By The River im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.474,26).
