Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peonies; Swan passing the moored boats; and Family playing in the park by Ula Paine was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2005. The price achieved of GBP 264.00 (€ 389.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ula Paine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers By The River in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,474.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peonies; Swan passing the moored boats; and Family playing in the park von Ula Paine kam im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 264,00 (€ 389,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ula Paine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers By The River im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.474,26).
