Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two Figures by Tyeb Mehta was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,812,500.00 (€ 1,471,185.06). Other works by Tyeb Mehta have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of INR 204,875,000.00 (€ 2,587,399.54) in November 2018 for the work Durga Mahisasura Mardini.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two Figures von Tyeb Mehta kam im März 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.812.500,00 (€ 1.471.185,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Tyeb Mehta haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von INR 204.875.000,00 (€ 2.587.399,54) im November 2018 für die Arbeit Durga Mahisasura Mardini beobachtet.
