In October last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Red Iron", 1992 by Tuija Lindström. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,575.20), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tuija Lindström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "The Girls at Bulls Pond/Kvinnorna vid Tjursjön", 1991 (8 pieces) in November 2014 with an auction result of SEK 340,000.00 (€ 36,657.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Red Iron", 1992 von Tuija Lindström zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.575,20) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tuija Lindström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "The Girls at Bulls Pond/Kvinnorna vid Tjursjön", 1991 (8 pieces) im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 340.000,00 (€ 36.657,02).
