Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Les Cerfs (The Deer) by Tran Phuc Duyen for HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,308.74). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tran Phuc Duyen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les cueilleuses de la moyenne région au Tonkin (The Pickers of the Middle Region in Tonkin) ; Le chemin du marché (The Way to the Market) in September this year with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 63,850.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Les Cerfs (The Deer) von Tran Phuc Duyen für HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.308,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tran Phuc Duyen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les cueilleuses de la moyenne région au Tonkin (The Pickers of the Middle Region in Tonkin) ; Le chemin du marché (The Way to the Market) im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 63.850,00).
