This artwork by Tran Phuc Duyen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction, the work A Round Dish Decorated With Fish sold for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,641.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tran Phuc Duyen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les cueilleuses de la moyenne région au Tonkin (The Pickers of the Middle Region in Tonkin) ; Le chemin du marché (The Way to the Market) in September this year with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 63,850.00).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tran Phuc Duyen erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit A Round Dish Decorated With Fish für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.641,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tran Phuc Duyen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les cueilleuses de la moyenne région au Tonkin (The Pickers of the Middle Region in Tonkin) ; Le chemin du marché (The Way to the Market) im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 63.850,00).
