It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,492.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Tran Phuc Duyen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les cueilleuses de la moyenne région au Tonkin (The Pickers of the Middle Region in Tonkin) ; Le chemin du marché (The Way to the Market) in September this year with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 63,850.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Village Landscape Near A River von Tran Phuc Duyen kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.492,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tran Phuc Duyen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les cueilleuses de la moyenne région au Tonkin (The Pickers of the Middle Region in Tonkin) ; Le chemin du marché (The Way to the Market) im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 63.850,00).
