Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Box Decorated With Deers by Tran Phuc Duyen was sold in the La Mystique de l'Indochine: Paris auction at Sothebys in Paris in April 2021. The price achieved of EUR 6,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tran Phuc Duyen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les cueilleuses de la moyenne région au Tonkin (The Pickers of the Middle Region in Tonkin) ; Le chemin du marché (The Way to the Market) in September this year with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 63,850.00).

Die Arbeit Box Decorated With Deers von Tran Phuc Duyen wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion La Mystique de l'Indochine: Paris bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tran Phuc Duyen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les cueilleuses de la moyenne région au Tonkin (The Pickers of the Middle Region in Tonkin) ; Le chemin du marché (The Way to the Market) im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 63.850,00).
