This artwork by Toyin Ojih Odutola achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction, the work LTS IV sold for GBP 378,000.00 (€ 434,809.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toyin Ojih Odutola have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Through Line in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 2,198,000.00 (€ 1,947,373.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Toyin Ojih Odutola erzielte im April 2021 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit LTS IV für GBP 378.000,00 (€ 434.809,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toyin Ojih Odutola auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Through Line im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.198.000,00 (€ 1.947.373,08).
