Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moomin, 1956 by Tove Jansson was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in Brussels in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 256.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tove Jansson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study for "Källskärstavlan" in November this year with an auction result of SEK 1,500,000.00 (€ 131,738.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Moomin, 1956 von Tove Jansson wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 256,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tove Jansson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study for "Källskärstavlan" im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.500.000,00 (€ 131.738,17).
