This work without title by Tove Jansson was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021. It achieved a price of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,340.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tove Jansson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study for "Källskärstavlan" in November this year with an auction result of SEK 1,500,000.00 (€ 131,738.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tove Jansson wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.340,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tove Jansson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study for "Källskärstavlan" im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.500.000,00 (€ 131.738,17).
