Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tove Jansson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June last year. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work At the bar sold for SEK 105,000.00 (€ 9,698.63) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tove Jansson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study for "Källskärstavlan" in November this year with an auction result of SEK 1,500,000.00 (€ 131,738.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tove Jansson erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit At the bar für SEK 105.000,00 (€ 9.698,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tove Jansson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study for "Källskärstavlan" im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.500.000,00 (€ 131.738,17).
