Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "America", 2003 by Tova Mozard was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,950.92). Admittedly, works by Tova Mozard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Psycho", 2003 in May 2016 with an auction result of SEK 85,000.00 (€ 9,152.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "America", 2003 von Tova Mozard im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.950,92) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tova Mozard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Psycho", 2003 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 85.000,00 (€ 9.152,67).
