Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Toti Scialoja could be acquired at Il Ponte in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Tredici maggio changed hands for EUR 8,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toti Scialoja have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Metamorfosi in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 75,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Toti Scialoja konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wechselte die Arbeit Tredici maggio für EUR 8.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toti Scialoja auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Metamorfosi im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.800,00.
