Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Senza Titolo by Toti Scialoja for EUR 17,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea & Identita’ Italiana un’Importante Collezione Privata at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Toti Scialoja have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Metamorfosi in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 75,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Toti Scialoja für EUR 17.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea & Identita’ Italiana un’Importante Collezione Privata bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toti Scialoja auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Metamorfosi im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.800,00.
