Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Toti Scialoja was auctioned at Il Ponte in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toti Scialoja achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Metamorfosi in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 75,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Toti Scialoja kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toti Scialoja erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Metamorfosi im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.800,00.
