This artwork by Toti Scialoja achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2007. In the Post War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Metamorfosi sold for EUR 75,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. This high result makes Metamorfosi the most expensive artwork by Toti Scialoja that we have observed at auctions so far.
