Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Lettura D'Infanzia by Toti Scialoja. The price achieved of USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,341.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toti Scialoja have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Metamorfosi in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 75,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lettura D'Infanzia von Toti Scialoja zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 10.341,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toti Scialoja auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Metamorfosi im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.800,00.
