Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Il 13 Giugno 1980 by Toti Scialoja was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 21,850.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toti Scialoja - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Metamorfosi, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 75,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Il 13 Giugno 1980 von Toti Scialoja wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 21.850,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Toti Scialoja mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Metamorfosi beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 75.800,00 versteigert wurde.
