Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Toshimitsu Imai was worth GBP 16,500.00 (€ 18,431.97) to a buyer in December 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toshimitsu Imai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Temps Modernes in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,680,000.00 (€ 414,607.11).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Toshimitsu Imai war einem Käufer im Dezember 2020 GBP 16.500,00 (€ 18.431,97) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toshimitsu Imai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Temps Modernes im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.680.000,00 (€ 414.607,11).
