The work Deux Mains by Toshimitsu Imai was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in December last year. It achieved a price of EUR 120,075.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toshimitsu Imai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Temps Modernes, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 3,680,000.00 (€ 414,607.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Deux Mains von Toshimitsu Imai kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 120.075,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Toshimitsu Imai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Temps Modernes beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 3.680.000,00 (€ 414.607,11) versteigert wurde.
