Upper estimate price exceeded by 42 %.
The work Noire et blanc by Toshimitsu Imai was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,500.00 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toshimitsu Imai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Temps Modernes in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,680,000.00 (€ 414,607.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Noire et blanc von Toshimitsu Imai wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.500,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toshimitsu Imai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Temps Modernes im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.680.000,00 (€ 414.607,11).
