Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Twilight by Torben Giehler. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,541.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Torben Giehler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2020 the work "Blue Monday" was auctioned for EUR 17,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Twilight von Torben Giehler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.541,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Torben Giehler konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2020 die Arbeit "Blue Monday" für EUR 17.850,00 versteigert.
