Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tony Feher could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the FIRST OPEN | Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,584.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tony Feher - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Few Blue Spots, which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,158.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tony Feher konnte im März 2016 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.584,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tony Feher mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Few Blue Spots beobachtet, die im November 2011 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.158,18) versteigert wurde.
