It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,521.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tony Feher - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Few Blue Spots, which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,158.18).

Die Arbeit Probably Best Seen in a Dark Room with the T.V. On von Tony Feher wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.521,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tony Feher mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Few Blue Spots beobachtet, die im November 2011 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.158,18) versteigert wurde.
