Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Inborn Talent Burgeons by Tong Yangtze was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,524.02). Admittedly, works by Tong Yangtze have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Be Tolerant, So You Will Be Great, Have No Desire, So You Will Be Strong (You Rong Nai Da) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 36,616.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Inborn Talent Burgeons von Tong Yangtze kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.524,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tong Yangtze auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Be Tolerant, So You Will Be Great, Have No Desire, So You Will Be Strong (You Rong Nai Da) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 36.616,12).
