Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Id400 Project, #201-300 by Tomoko Sawada. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,060.96), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomoko Sawada - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work School Days, which sold at auction in May 2018 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,468.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Id400 Project, #201-300 von Tomoko Sawada zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.060,96) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomoko Sawada mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit School Days beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.468,29) versteigert wurde.
